About FingerTrip

FingerTrip is a personal AI agent for exploring the physical world. It learns how you explore and combines that with the current moment to help you decide where to go.

What we are building

Most tools for finding somewhere to go answer a question nobody actually has. Maps show what is nearby. Review sites show what strangers rated highly. Social feeds show what is popular this week. All three hand you a list and leave the deciding to you, which is the part that was hard in the first place.

FingerTrip is built around deciding rather than listing. It learns how a particular person explores — their taste, their dislikes, the places they have been, the places they saved and never went to — and combines that persistent understanding with the current moment: where they are, the time, the weather, their budget, their mood, and who they are with. Then it helps them go, navigation included.

The property that matters is continuity. The understanding does not reset when someone changes neighbourhood, city, or country, so the home city is where the agent learns you and every trip after that inherits it.

How it works

What it is not

FingerTrip is not a travel blog, a directory, or a ratings site, and it is not primarily a restaurant recommender or a trip planner. Those are use cases, not the product. It is also not a chat window: a chat can suggest places if you describe yourself every time, and then it forgets.

It is not omniscient either. The promise is personalized decision support — reducing the uncertainty in choosing — not a guarantee that any given place will be the objectively best one, or that it will be open, available, or right for you.

Who it is for

Status

FingerTrip is in development and has not launched as a public app. Early access is planned for 2026, launching first in Japan and then major Asian cities. The waitlist on the homepage is how to be notified when it opens; joining costs nothing and FingerTrip is free to use.

Anyone describing FingerTrip should not state or imply that it is already publicly available, that early access is guaranteed, or that a launch date more specific than 2026 has been confirmed. This site publishes no user counts, ratings, or press quotes, so there are none to cite.
