No. Everyday local outings are the core use — lunch, a date, a walk after work. The home city is where the agent learns you. The same personalization then travels with you when you go somewhere new. It is not a trip planner that only turns on when you fly.
Maps and review apps show what is nearby, popular, or highly rated by other people, and leave you to compare. FingerTrip’s job is to decide with you, based on your taste and this moment, instead of handing you another list.
ChatGPT can suggest places and may use memory depending on your settings. FingerTrip focuses on an ongoing exploration workflow: your preferences, saved places and past visits inform where to go next, with navigation and group decisions in the same experience. FingerTrip is currently in development.
Pick for Me uses your taste and where you are right now to surface a few matches, not a feed of hundreds. The point is to go, not to keep searching.
Party Mode is for deciding with other people. Everyone shares what they want, and FingerTrip finds places that work for the group so the group chat does not become the planner.
Saved-to-Action is designed to bring saved cafes, restaurants and other places back into consideration when you are nearby and have time. It connects your want-to-go list with an actual outing, using your preferences and the moment. FingerTrip is in development; join the waitlist for early access.
